To San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua From Liberia Area & Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR)

About Your Transportation
This shuttle will pick you up at 9:15 AM at the Liberia Airport or downtown Liberia at 9:30 AM in Plaza Santa Rosa in front of Perimercado, and take you to the border with Nicaragua. There a guide will assist you with the immigration process out of Costa Rica and into Nicaragua. Another van will be waiting on the Nicaragua side to continue your journey to San Juan del Sur. They will drop you off at your hotel between 12:30 PM and 1:00 PM.

Where To Meet The Driver? 
If you are traveling from the Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport your pick-up spot will be the Britt Cafe right outside the airport on the right side of the arrivals area. You will need to pass both immigration and customs (30-120 minutes) to get to the meeting point so if you are requesting a pick-up, make sure to book a shuttle that picks you up 60-120 minutes after your plane is scheduled to land and always provide us with your flight information so that we can be aware of any delays or cancelations.

IMPORTANT NOTES: 
Liberia Airport and Plaza Santa Rosa (in front of Perimercado) are the pick-up locations in Liberia.
There is a $9 exit fee to leave Costa Rica and a $15 entrance fee to enter Nicaragua, which is not included in the ticket price. 
Have your Yellow Fever Card.
Please have your passport with you on the day of travel for immigration officials.
Pick-up time is an estimate and may vary by 15 minutes in either direction. Clients should be waiting at the assigned pick-up point 15 minutes before the assigned pick-up time. The shuttle will wait for clients a maximum of 5 minutes. If, after that waiting period, the client is not on board, the shuttle will leave without the client, and the client will NOT receive a refund.
You are allowed one large bag or backpack and one carry-on size (computer bag) per person.
There is a $10 fee for each extra piece of luggage, odd or oversized/weight luggage, and surfboard bag. (Surfboards up to 6 ft 5 in)
