As the tour begins, our crew will take you to the stunning Tortuga Island, where you can enjoy swimming or snorkeling directly from the boat.
This tour is not focused on this, but on a sunny warm afternoon, it is a great idea! Also, get to know the island's beach, which is very nice, especially because most of the visitors leave the island before our arrival in the afternoon, meaning you can enjoy it for yourself!
You’ll also have time to relax and discover Tortuga Island’s beautiful beach. One of the best parts of this tour is that we arrive later in the afternoon, after most visitors have already left, allowing you to enjoy a much quieter and more peaceful atmosphere.
At approximately 16:30 PM, we will serve traditional Costa Rican tacos, known locally as “Gallos,” along with fresh tropical fruit. A traditional Gallo consists of a corn tortilla filled with meat and fresh chopped vegetables — a delicious local favorite.
After enjoying the island, we return to the boat and head toward Playa Vivos in Tambor Bay, where you can admire a spectacular sunset over the surrounding hills.
As night falls, the magic begins. We head out in search of the glowing bioluminescent waters. You can choose to relax and enjoy the view from the boat, or jump into the water for the full experience — come on, you must experience this in the water!! highly recommended!
